To get notified when a topic is added to the agenda of a meeting, go that meeting in Instant Agenda. In the meeting header, there will be a bell icon which indicates if you are receiving notifications or not. Clicking this icon will toggle the state of your notifications. Once the notifications are turned on, you’ll get an email notification when a user other than yourself adds a topic to the meeting while the meeting is not running.

You can see all of the meetings for which your receive notifications by going to your user profile page. You can get to this page by clicking your avatar in the header of the page. Once there, the Notifications section of the page lists all of the meetings for which you have ever had the notifications turned on.

You can click the Edit Notifications button to toggle off notifications en masse, or to turn on notifications that were once on but have since been turned off. This is convenient for turning notifications off and back on when you are leaving on vacation.

Topic notifications are only available to users with Instant Agenda accounts. If you are signed in as a guest user, you will not be able to enable topic notifications.
