Previously, when a meeting was ended, the moderator was presented with the Meeting Summary page. The next step for the moderator would be to send the summary containing all of the topics that were discussed. But, it was difficult for them to get back to the Meeting Summary page, so if the moderator didn’t have time to send the email, they’d likely keep the browser tab open until they were able to tidy up the notes, decisions, and actions items. Or, even worse, they would close the Meeting Summary page and be unable to send out the summary email.

We’ve made changes to address this issue. Instead of showing a list of all the topics that have been closed, we now show previous sessions of the meeting that have been run. Each session displays a summary of the topics that were discussed, and clicking on the session takes you to the Meeting Summary page, where you can see all of the details for that session of the meeting.



Additionally, this keeps the context of closed topics to the current session of the meeting, rather than cluttering your screen with topics from previous sessions. When the meeting is in progress, you will see the closed topics appear above the previous sessions. Once the meeting is ended, those topics will be collected and summarized as a previous session for later reference.
