We have recently added a few powerful features based on feedback that we’ve heard from our users.
You can add Action Items from within active topics during a meeting. Describe the action, add a due date, and assign to an individual in the meeting. Note: if you want to assign an action to someone not signed into Instant Agenda, you can type ANY name into the assignee field. In that case, only the meeting moderator will be able to update the Action Item status. Signed in users can update action items assigned to themselves.
You should also notice that in each meeting there is a new “Action Items” tab next to closed topics. This is a running list of action items associated with each meeting. This is useful for reviewing open action items at the start of each session. Action Items are fundamental to where we are going with Instant Agenda, so expect more functionality in this area soon.
Meeting moderators can now edit topic notes and action items from the Closed Topics and Action Items tabs. Previously you could only edit notes for the active topic within a meeting session. Additionally, you can edit notes and action items from the Meeting Summary page. This allows you to “clean up” your notes before sending out the summary.
We’ve added in-app notifications (represented by the bell icon in the upper right). These notifications will allow us to do several things. First, we can communicate important changes in the product. Second, the notifications can be triggered by your own activity in Instant Agenda (e.g., to warn you when an action item you own is overdue). Third, you can use notifications (or the feedback button) to communicate with our support team. We’ll continue to improve notifications as we go.
Thanks for your continued usage and support. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to use the feedback button in the app. Also, we’re always happy to hear from you directly — just schedule a 15-minute call with us using this link: https://calendly.com/instant-agenda/product-feedback
